題名:職業取向的縱貫追蹤研究及其相關因素之探討

本研究的目的主要在探討大學生在職業評估、自我評估、自我投入、對未來職業看法與職業取向的縱貫發展情形,以及了解年級、性別因素對此等發展的中介影響。並同時探討七個控制變項與五個效標變項間的典型相關。縱貫追蹤、研究的樣本係以123位大學生為對象,其中一部分樣本由一年級追蹤至三年級;另一部分則由二年級追蹤到四年級。經兩年追蹤調查與分析後發現:第一,相隔兩年之後,總群體學生在各變項上之發展,均有顯著之改變。亦即隨年級而有增加之趨勢,且其發展情況相當穩定;第二,男女兩性在此等變項上亦均有顯著之發展,唯女生之發展,平均比男生的發展慢兩年;第三,大學後半段的發展,在速率及發展向度方面,均較前半段為快為廣。至於典型相關研究的部分,則係以280名大學生為樣本,所得結果主要有:第一,總群體學生的典型因素結構中,有一個典型相關係數,達到顯著水準,顯示控制變項所得的典型變項與效標變項所得之典型變項間具有密切關係。具體言之,控制變項中主要係由內外控信念和焦慮,透過第一個典型因素,而影響自我評估此一效標變項;第二,就男女學生而言,亦分別有一個典型因素具有意義,即男女學生其控制變項所得的典型變項與效標變項所得的典型變項之間,具有密切關係;第三,大學二年級與四年級學生的典型相關分析結果,不盡相同。二年級學生的控制變項係透過第一個典型因素和第二個典型因素而影響效標變項;而四年級學生則僅有一個典型因素具有意義。此外,年級、性別因素對於此等典型相關,具有中介的影響。根據各項研究發現,本研究提出改進大學職業輔導工作及加強此類研究等建議。
The development of college students' vocational orientation was investigated longitudinally on 123 college students and a canonical correlat ion analysis based on 280 Ss. was conducted. The data analysis revealed that the students' scores on Career Orientation Inventory tended to increased with grade. The career development of boys was better than those of the girls. The development of (Soph. -Senior) students was better than those of (Freshmen-Junior) students. It was also found that there were significant canonical correlations between 7 control variables and 5 criterion variables in each subgroups. Results are discussed in terms of their implications for career guidance in educational settings.
