The purposes of this study were to understand the effects of cross level study of adult learners’ help-seeking behavior among division of continuing education students and teachers. A total of 785 students responded to the Adult Learning Behavior Questionnaire and 58 teachers responded to the Teaching Experience Questionnaire. The descriptive statistics, one-way ANOVA, one-way MANOVA, Pearson product-moment, canonical analysis, and hierarchical linear modeling were used to analyze data. The major findings were as follows:
1.The adult learners of division of continuing education in southern region had higher counseling needs in "learning techniques and methods" aspect and had lower counseling needs in "psycho-social support" aspect.
2.The adult learners of division of continuing education in southern region were more like to take instrumental help and less to avoidance of help.
3.Classroom climate was with higher supportive from teachers and less students to actively participate in class activities atmosphere in division of continuing education of southern region.
4.In terms of organizational citizenship behavior, "engagement" was the highest and "helping and cooperative behavior" aspect was the lowest among division of continuing education in the southern region.
5.Adult learners of division of continuing education in southern region who were male, under 30 years of age, in class size more than 21 students , they took less instrumental help, but easier to avoid taking help.
6.Adult learners of division of continuing education in southern region faced pressure in the learning process with a higher degree of counseling needs, and showed a better degree of peers interaction atmosphere within the class, the more the individual solved the problems in order to promote mastery learning, and less asked for help.
7.Adult learners of division of continuing education in southern region in " psycho-social support", "interactive strategy of the roles "consultation needs existed positive effects on help-seeking behavior, and "affiliation" existed positive effects on the adult learners' help-seeking behavior.
8.Division of continuing education in southern region shaped organizational citizenship behavior and it weaken the relationships between "interactive strategy of the roles" and “help-seeking behavior”; besides, the higher extent affiliation in class, learners had the more help-seeking behaviors.
