本文探索一九四九年以後寓居臺灣的方豪教授，與香港學界的學術交往，從而反映此一特殊時期學術發展的一個側面。研究主要透過書信資料對方豪與羅香林、牟潤孫及徐誠斌主教間的學術交流做採討，並透過彼等之往還對香港大學、珠海書院等機構產生的影響略作引申。此一情景已隨第一代流亡學人之凋謝而逐漸消逝。本文所述，僅反映此一情景之部分光影而已。

Since 1949, when communist took over Mainland China, Taiwan and Hong Kong became the shelters of many scholars. They kept in touch with one another through mails. This essay focuses on this postal communications between Prof. Maurus Fang Hao (方豪) and some scholars in Hong Kong, such as Lo Hsiang-Lin ( 羅香林 ) , Mo Ruan-Sun ( 牟潤孫 ) , and Catholic Bishop Francis Hsu ( 徐誠斌 ) . And it is found that, (1) Fang provided some historical data or gave advices to their essays; and (2) Fang joined the committee on Master or Doctor Degree of University of Hong Kong and Chu Hai College. As the first generation of scholars who emigrated to Taiwan and Hong Kong in 1950's, have been fading away gradually, this essay pays respect to them in offering only a specific facet of this special period.
