Since five “Student Satisfaction of School Administration” surveys done at National Taitung University (NTTU) during 2000 to 2005, the former four surveys show student satisfaction to administration has increased gradually, but the present survey shows the average score of student satisfaction toward all administrative departments decreases from 3.25 to 3.21 in a 1-to -5 rating scale, comparing with 2004 the average score reduce 0.04. According to the open-ended questionnaire, students consider that the administrative departments have a great deal of items remained to improve. Students satisfaction toward all the academic departments increases from 3.16 to 3.18. The present survey shows among all the administrative departments, students still have the highest satisfaction with the Library (3.61); while among all the academic departments, the Department of Early Childhood Education satisfies students the most (3.75); among graduate institutes and Master’s programs, Graduate Institute of Regional Policy and Devlepoment wins the highest (3.94) evaluation. Students consider that the importance of taking secondary teacher education courses (3.25) is superior to elementary teacher education courses (3.23) for the first time. With regards to the administrative affairs of schools and teaching measure, students’ suggestions are stated as the following: 1.Imporve the online course registration system and operation procedure. 2.Offer students more courses about second specialty. 3.Abolish the flag raising ritual and do not force students to participate in the school activity. 4.Improve Administrative service and efficiency. 5.Inprove the quality of dormitory and cafeteria. 6.Increase the collections of the library. 7. Accelerate the construction of Jhih-ben campus and the library enlargement.
