本研究為探索性的研究，藉由介入性的親子體能活動課程欲了解參與親子體能遊戲課程是否會對於親子關係有所影響。親子體能遊戲課程為每週一次，共十週，由社區父母與學前或國小的孩童共同參與。透過前後測的量化問卷調查，以及一個月後對父母的焦點團體和個別訪談，進行研究資料的收集。研究結果發現：1.親子體能遊戲課程對於親子關係的欣賞、溝通層面和總量表之得分皆有所提升。2.親子體能遊戲課程對親子關係的影響包括：父母學會以遊戲方式和孩子互動，促進親子間互動溝通的機會，且親子彼此間的關係更為緊密。本研究的結果不但讓我們可以了解透過親子體能活動對於親子關係的增進，並可提供父母、社區健康中心作為推行之參考。
Due to the importance of the exercise to our health, this study attempted to find out the influences of the parent-child fitness-play curriculum to parent-child relationships. The parent-child fitness-play curriculum has been designed. It took about 110 minutes once a week for ten weeks in total. Twenty parents and their preschoolers and / or elementary children joined in the program. Based on the pre- and post survey, the quantitative data has been collected, the focus group discussions and individual interviews had been recorded as the qualitative data. The transcripts of the interviews are typed, coded and categorized. The results showed that after the program, parents admire and communicate better with their kids. Parents learn how to interact with their kids through play. This parent-child fitness-play program support parents have a stable time and place to do exercise with their kids which increase not only the physical but also the spiritual linkages among the family members. These findings help us to have a better understanding of the parent-child fitness program's benefits. It can also be a good reference for the schools, communities and the health center to prove parent-child fitness programs.
