This study was purposed to explore the influence on behavioral intention caused by the behavioral attitude, subjective norms and perceived behavioral control among the players of amateur table tennis ranking tournaments, together with the interference to behavioral intention after ranking interference variables were taken into consideration. This study was conducted by using the researching tool of the “Questionnaires for Analysis on the Interference to the Planned Behavior Theory Caused by the Players of Amateur Table Tennis Ranking Tournaments" with the experimental subjects recruited from the players of amateur table tennis ranking tournaments separately on Taoyuan City, Taipei City, and New Taipei City. There were totally 463 questionnaires delivered and 446 valid replies received with the valid samples rated at 92.83%. After both the multiple regression analysis and the hierarchical regression analysis were performed by SPSS 18.0 Statistical Package Software of Chinese Version, research findings were concluded as below. The behavioral attitude of the players of amateur table tennis ranking tournament would exert positive influence on behavioral attention. Subjective norms would exert positive influence on behavioral intention. Perceived behavioral control would exert positive influence on behavioral intention. Behavioral attitude was positively correlated to subjective norms. Subjective norms were positively correlated to perceived behavioral control. Behavioral attitude was positively correlated to behavioral control. Regarding the parts of interference, the interaction between the players with high rankings and the subjective norms in the dimension of teachers would exert positive influence on behavioral intention. Finally, based on research results, some suggestions were raised available for the reference of the hosting units of table tennis ranking tournament and upcoming researches.
