Rohingya crisis in Myanmar not only causes ethnic conflict but also raise international concerns of ethnic cleansing. After Aung San Suu Kyi won the presidential election and more than half seats in parliament, the international community has been maintaining pressure on her for solving Rohingya crisis; however, she is unable to respond to the crisis properly. The crisis involves multiple fundamental reasons, history, culture and religions. Thus, the crisis is impossible to be solved by simply separating Rohingya people out of non-Rohingya people. Inspiring by constitutional system, the study discusses if Aung San Suu Kyi can solve Rohingya crisis properly with the legitimacy of her power after taking the position of the State Counselor. Additionally, the author analyzes the position and influence of the State Counselor from the perspective of 2008 Constitution.
