Professor Thaddeus T'ui-chieh Hang began editing and contributing to UNIVERSITAS. It's through this journal that Professor Hang released the important products of his study and teaching that were in rich in topics, various, and inspiring. This paper is exactly intended to introduce his articles published in UNIVERSITAS that were concerned with Confucius, Mencius and Xun Zi's thoughts about human beings. Through this paper, we wish to make the academic members review the old and learn about the new scholarship on such topics and encourage the students to recognize the academic achievement this predecessor made. Accordingly, the study about Chinese philosophy can be not only perpetuated but also bestowed with limitless opportunities. This paper is to proceed along the following sections: first, Professor Hang's ideas about the philosophical features and methodologies of Chinese philosophy; second, Confucius's thought about human beings; third, Mencius's thought about mankind; fourth, Xun Zi's ideas about men; and fifth, the Chinese and western perspectives about this issue.
