過去十幾年間,金城武成為在全球化亞洲中具有高度移動性的明星示範,這篇文章以金城武做為個案,企圖對跨國明星地位提出脈絡化的解釋。本文從亞洲區域間的全球關係和互為滲透的媒介文化出發,將金城武放在(1)後殖民台灣的偶像文化經濟,(2)香港電影的全球整合,和(3)日本「重返亞洲」氛圍下所產製的泛亞媒介文化。金城武的移動軌跡不但連結了台灣、香港、日本媒介文化間的生產關係,他的移動性更使互為主體的亞洲產生其協商空間。在建構金城武的公眾主體時,台灣、香港和日本交織的媒介文化,同時也在多層次的後殖民條件中思考同為全球與亞洲的雙重意識。
