陸深(1477-1544)是明代書法巨匠董其昌宣揚松江地區的書法傳統時，經常會援引的同鄉前輩，並以個人政治上的成就，與致仕後造福鄉里的事蹟，讓歷代松江府志將他視爲不忘故土，光耀鄉里的松江子弟。但是，檢視目前藏於國立故宮博物院所藏，陸深寫給兒子陸楫的私人書信，卻透露出他對於松江地區，不同於公開場合的複雜情緒。本文便是以陸深的家書，試圖討論他在「公」與「私」的分際中，所表露的私密情感，以及他在明代中期地方文化意識逐漸抬頭的氛圍下，如何看待自己的故鄉。

Contributing hometown after acquiring high-rank position in the Ming Empire, Lu Shen (1477-1544), bearing praise and proud of his hometown, was considered a grateful native and successful model of political career in Sung-chiang. When mentioned traditional calligraphy achievement in Sung-chiang area, Chi-chang Tung, a famous contemporary calligraphist also born there, often contributed his success to Lu's inspiration and praised Lu's superior moral with respect. Meanwhile, according to Lu's letter to his son, Chi Lu, Lu was no longer a complete devotee and inconsistent with what he formally considered. This paper therefore intends to reveal and compare Lu's image in private (to his families) and in public (remarked by contemporary writers and local history, Sung-chiang-fuchih). Through a closer look, more real attitude of Lu will be presented.
