由於社會的快速變遷,人們希望從周遭環境中汲取生活的元素,並企圖找到這個時代的真正意義,裝置藝術便在這種人們全新的感知方式下產生了。後現代的視覺文化轉變了人們語言的世界觀,而呈現出影像的視覺化,並企圖以圖像的角度來理解這個世界。在裝置藝術的表現形式中,影像更是居於重要的地位,因此本研究擬探討「當代臺灣攝影裝置藝術表現之內涵」,研究攝影裝置藝術在臺灣之發展緣起與現況。本研究以訪談法爲主,以六位臺灣地區攝影裝置藝術家爲訪談對象,輔以文獻探討、文件分析與創作背景資料調查等。研究目的有四項:(一)探討臺灣地區攝影裝置藝術的發展現況;(二)探討臺灣地區攝影裝置藝術家創作的元素及歷程;(三)探討臺灣地區攝影裝置藝術家呈現的議題和形式;(四)探討臺灣地區攝影裝置藝術與社會的互動和未來發展。期盼經由深入創作場域的探討,能獲得當代藝術創作中更多真實的意義。
Due to the rapid changes in our society, people started to grow insecure and panic, hoping to learn more about the elements in the surrounding and find out the true meaning of life for this generation. Furthermore, our sensibility and old habits once again fall behind our hesitation forward this new era. People therefore develop a brand new sense of style, and that's how Installation Art came along. The Postmodern visual culture altered the literal world, presenting the visualization of images and comprehending the world from a point of view of images. Images play a significant role in Installation Art's presence. Therefore this study is to discuss the intension of Taiwan's contemporary Photography Installation Art as well as its developmental status. Through the exploration of Photography Installation artists' creative elements and concepts, we can realize the issues and forms of Photography Installation in Taiwan, and furthermore discuss the Photography Installation's interaction with society and future prospect. This study includes the following issues: 1) Photography Installation's developmental history and background in Taiwan, 2) elements and processes that affect Photography Installation artists' creations, 3) issues and form present by Photography Installation artists, 4) Photography Installation Art's interaction with society and future prospects. This study adopted the Qualitative Research method and its object is the installation artist's photographic images. They have been shown more than times in areas greater than the county level from 1990 to 2004 were considered. They are the objects in our in-depth interviews and study. This study primarily uses in-depth interviews, plus document exploration, paper analysis and creative background information, hoping to become familiar with their creative intentions. Through study analysis and the summed up result, we will propose the observed discoveries and publish the results and suggestions. We hope that this study can use the above-mentioned methods and procedure to achieve our study goal, and apply the results in the field of art appreciation.
