本文旨在針對華僑子弟如何學習華語文,提出教學原理及原則,供僑校教師做為參考。華語教學的原則,不外乎類化及熟練兩耑。善用類化原則,由淺入深、由易而難,可以收歸納統整之效;活用熟練原則,依測試、教學、再測試的原理,直至學生完全理解教學內容,可以由短期記憶漸進到長期記憶,這兩個教學原則若能把握,對僑校子弟而言,將能很快的學得華語文。華語文的學習必須藉助情境,因此,如何善用學習情境,亦是本文探討的重點之一。
The purpose of this article is to provide teaching principles to Chinese teachers who are working in schools with oversea Chinese descendents. The principles of Teaching Chinese are nothing else but apperception and proficiency. Using the apperception principle well, teachers would see a collective result by teaching from simple materials to more complicated materials. Using the proficiency principle well, teachers would help students to transfer Chinese language from short-term memory to long-term memory by following the steps of testing, teaching, and re-testing until students well-comprehend the content. If the Chinese teachers can practice these two principles in Chinese teaching, the Chinese descendents oversea would consequently learn Chinese well in a very short time. Moreover, the situational teaching is one of the most important elements in teaching Chinese. Hence, how to make good use of the teaching situation would also be one of the most important focuses in this article.
