人類為了追求更好的物質生活，不斷地從事經濟活動，在高度重視科技文明之下，形成過度或不當地開發或使用土地資源，導致地球與自然生態平衡受到衝擊，衍生人類的生活環境受到汙染與氣候變遷問題。本研究以當代環境哲學理論，從人與環境兩個層面出發，審視人類的土地利用觀念，是否應兼顧土地倫理思維，提出土地使用芻議，包括：落實土地利用規劃與管理、建立環保與永續環境理念，實踐節能減碳的生活，並將土地使用予以立法等。

Human beings in pursuit of a better material life continue to engage in economic activities. Under the great emphasis on science and technology, land resources are often excessively or improperly developed. This endangers the world's natural ecological balance, brings human habitation of the earth under siege, and directly or indirectly leads to climate change issues. Based on contemporary environmental philosophy theory, this study re-examines human land ethics from two aspects: humans and the environment. Should consideration be given to land ethics and its associated proposals for land use, including examination of execution of land-use management plans, implementation of ecological and sustainable living environment concepts, and implementation of energy conservation and carbon emissions reductions practices. Land use legislation may draw attention to and effectively address environmental problems.
