本研究之目的旨在探討：一、銀髮族游泳者活動參與者的基本人口背景變項；二、銀髮族游泳者在不同人口背景變項休閒動機與生活滿意度之差異情形。本研究參考相關文獻進行編製「銀髮族游泳者的休閒動機與生活滿意度之量表」，共取得有效問卷171份，根據研究結果指出休閒動機的年齡、婚姻狀況與教育程度因素以及生活滿意度的教育程度與退休因素有達顯著性差異（p<.05）。休閒動機與生活滿意度的其他因素皆未達顯著性差異（p>.05）。

The purpose aimed of this research was discussed into elder swimmers the basic variable of the population background and elder swimmers of the swimmer movable participant was in the difference situation of the different population background variable recreational motive and the life satisfaction. The researcher referred to literature and develops the scales of elder swimmers' leisure motivation and life satisfaction. 171 questionnaires were valid retrieved. After the T test and one-way ANOVA, the results showed that the "age," "marital status" and "level of education" factors of leisure motivation, and the "level of education" and "retire" factors of life satisfaction had significant differences (p<.05). However, other dimensional factors of leisure motivation and life satisfaction had no significant differences (p>.05).
