The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference of players’ lifestyle management, tactics application and emotion management before and during tennis tournament. Methods: Four hundreds subjects were selected from the seventeenth Orient Cup tennis tournament; responses and valid questionnaires (rates, %) were 356(89%), 319(80%), respectively. Independent T-test was adapted to analysis the differences between draws and gender. Results: First, there was significant differences in lifestyle and emotion management domains in draw; and the elites were better than amateur players. However, the tactics application domain did not show differences in draws. Second, all domains had shown significant differences in gender, respectively. Females performed better in lifestyle and emotion management, and males performed better in tactics application. Conclusion: according to the results, we suggest lifestyle management; tactics application and emotion management programs could be scheduled in tennis training, which has positive effects in filed performance.
