Purpose: This research aimed to investigate the differences between senior learners who participates in courses of the learning center. Methods: Targeting on both the kind of courses and the quantities of attendees of year 105 in a learning center in Chiayi. The data were analyzed by Chi-squre test and descriptive statistics. Results: The result of this research shows that: 1. The meantal inspiring course is the most part of active aging curriculum; 2. The female learners are more than male learners. Besides, the age of most of the learners are between 60 and 65. Also, high school is the level of education of most of the learners; 3. Both male and female learners between age 61 to 65 are the majority of participants in sports and health courses. Males between age 71 to 75 and females between age 66 to 70 participate much more in mental inspiring course; 4. The ratio, which female learners with master degrees or above attend to sports and health courses, is higher; However, the ratio, which male learners with the education of the elementary school attend the dedication and service courses, is higher. Conclusion:There are significant differences in gender, age and educational attainment among active aging classes at Chiayi Senior Citizens' Learning Center. Therefore, we can draw up some attractive aging courses based on the results to meet the needs of different senior citizens.
