This study investigates Chaoyang Institute of Technology students (1994 academic year) in the following respects: age, height, weight, bottom measure, waist measure, cordiorespiratory endurance, muscular endurance, flexibility, back strength and grip strength performance: the results of which will be taken for future reference in curriculum design and grading. After analysis and comparisons are the following results derived: A. Anthropometry 1. Male group: it is natural that the 2-year program students are on average older than the 4-year program students, but in terms of height, weight, bottom measure and waist measure, there are no significant differences between them. 2. Female group: in terms of age, bottom measure, waist measure and weight, the 2-year program students are eigher older, bigger or heavier than the 4-year program students, but in terms of height, the latter is taller than the former. B. Pbysical Fitness The 4-year program students have better performance than the 2-year program students both in male and female groups, with the exception of the grip strength where the 2-year program students have better performance than the 4-year program students.
