學術英語聽力泛指英語非本族語者在高等教育專業學術場景中進行的任何以英語為媒介的聽力活動。經調查,影響泰國高校雲貴少數民族研究生學術英語聽力的因素主要有:學習者因素,教師因素和文化背景因素。學生較多使用認知策略來提高聽力效果。此外,學生學術英語聽力的自我效能感處於中等水平。本研究結果對民族地區學術用途英語(EAP)教學具有重要的啟示意義。
