  本篇文章在探討重度智能障礙兒童的溝通問題與溝通訓練的方法。溝通能力的提升對重度智能障礙兒童而言是一個十分重要的課題,有效的溝通訓練需要對溝通問題作深入的了解,方能提供適當的訓練方式。重度智能障礙兒童主要的溝通問題有異常行為的溝通模式、自發性溝通行為的不足、類化溝通能力的缺乏和注意力方面的缺陷而重度智能障礙兒童的溝通訓練方法則包括口語溝通訓練、功能性溝通訓練、擴大及替代性溝通訓練和自然環境教學。
