The purpose of this study was to identify foreign daughter-in-laws’ types of leisure activities, level of participation, and leisure activities constraints in Chi-Mei Township. In addition, the results will provide substantial referral in promoting foreign daughter-in-laws’ leisure activities of healthy community building. The research adopted questionnaire as survey instrument. The data analysis and results revealed as following: 1.The highest percentage of nationality of foreign daughter-in-law in Chi-Mei Township was Vietnam, followed by the nationality of Indonesia and Philippine. Most of foreign daughter-in-laws were under 30 with junior high school or elementary school degree. 2.In Chi-Mei Township, the foreign daughter-in-laws’ three major leisure activities included parent-child activities, watching TV, and culinary activities. Therefore, these three major activities formed a family-oriented leisure style. 3.Regarding to daughter-in-laws’ leisure activity constraints, time bound was primary constraints factor. Traffic or accessibility, no company, and housework factors were pinpointed also. In addition, the foreign daughter-in-laws tended to join leisure activities only approved by their family, which generated an anaclitic style leisure activities participator. This factor was founded commonly in foreign daughter-in-laws’ leisure activity constraints in Taiwan. 4.The results revealed that daughter-in-law’s age and their level of education was identified significantly negative correlation with some leisure activities constraints.
