In a basketball game, people usually pay attention to the players running in the court and displaying unique personal skills but ignore the key figure that is critical in victory and defeat, namely the coach who always pays close attention to the progress of the game silently. Coaches differs greatly from players and audiences on the issue of watching that establishes the aesthetics of basketball coaches. Therefore, this paper aimed at the aesthetics of basketball coaches. Based on eidetic intuition in phenomenology, the issue was explored in terms of two dimensions, that is, time and space. Through three levels of eidetic intuition, respectively typicalness (the first level), common empiricalness (the second level), and imaginative variation (the third level), coaches watch the time and space of a basketball court and further segregate the eidetic intuition of basketball time and basketball space as fragmental, reversible, and predictable. In addition, the watching of coaches unceasingly shuttles in the integration of time and space. From objectivity to subjectivity, from the whole to a part, and from the depths to the surface, coaches watch a game from different aspects. The reason why coaches are regarded as aesthetics lies in that the watching of coaches continuously shuttles between the binary elements, and it creates intangibility in tangibility as well as creates tangibility in intangibility.
