本研究乃試圖針對臺灣臺中地方法院檢察署（以下簡稱臺中地檢署）違反家庭暴力防治法緩刑付保護管束之個案，建立一團體處遇模式，並評估此模式之成效。實施之方式，採團體處遇之模式，計八名個案，兩名輔導老師，每個月一次，一次兩小時，為期一年。本研究採取多元方法多元評估之策略。運用Kirkpartrick（1959）所提出評估訓練成效的四種效標：反應效標、學習效標、行為效標、結果效標，作為本研究之整體成效評估。研究結果顯示，本團體處遇模式可降低家庭暴力加害人的「暴力危險」程度（處遇組之「暴力危險」顯著低於對照組），另外亦能協助參與團體的成員更穩定的適應其生活（處遇組「被撤銷緩刑」之比例遠低於對照組）；我們亦可發現團體成員經過一年的團體處遇之後，變得更願意在團體中扮演主動的角色，如在團體中經常發言，有高度的參與感，相信自己有能力參與團體討論，或是經常幫別人出主意做決定等，而且對於未來更抱持著希望，解釋型態更形樂觀。
In this research, we tried to establish and evaluate a treatment program for domestic violence offender who is probation under custody. In this program, there were 8 subjects and 2 counselors in this group, once a month, one to two hours for one year. It can be separating into two phase, the first phase is ”cognitive educating phase”, including five lessons, that is: contract agreement, rules of law, intimacy and parenting education, myth of right controlling and gender equality, and stress management. The second phase is ”relapse prevention phase”, from life adjustment until to break the cycle of domestic violence.Overall, we believe that this treatment program is effective. The primary effect is reducing their degree of violating risk. Violating risk of treatment group is lower than controlling group. In addition, it could also help group members adapting their daily-life more steadier. The proportion of ”revocation of probation” of treatment group is lower than controlling group.
