Today, the Western evidence-based medicine is the mainstream of Taiwan's medical system. In terms of traditional Chinese medical practice, it puts emphasis on acupuncture and tonic herbal decoctions. The traditional Chinese manipulative therapy, an ancient practice for holistic wellness, becomes marginalized and is even distorted to be associated with eight-related industry. It is an application of antagonistic technique developed by a therapeutic massage provider. Research result: (1)It is expectable that the traditional Chinese manipulative therapy will be transformed into leisure and wellness industries in the future. (2)Physical wellness and life attitudes have profound and positive influence on each other. (3)hysical wellness and life attitudes are closely associated with each other. (4)Pain relief and postural adjustments are the two characteristics that become advantages for the industrial transformation. (5)The change of the idea of ＂massage as a therapy＂ into ＂massage for wellness＂ creates the potential for industrial transformation.
