The "Yang Die"system is an important part in the folk belief of the Dong people. In combing with fieldwork materials by the method of etic and emic approaches from the anthropological perspective,the paper takes the"Yang Die"system as a cutting point to interpret the faith symbol,social organizations and the moral connotation embraced in its rich cultural items. It is significant to approach the harmonious ideology of the Dong people in terms of physical- mental relations,society and human and nature relations for the research of culture of the Dong people.
