近年來,隨著英語教育納入國小正規課程,兒童英語教學掀起一股說故事的熱潮。究竟以故事為主的兒童英語教學與傳統之英語字彙、句型、文法教學有何不同?對學生之英文學習成就、學習策略相關性為何?本研究透過實驗教學,進而具體了解英語說故事教學對國內英語初學者之學習成效及影響。
This study is designed to explore the issue of English instruction and learning for children. Recently, storytelling has become popular in children's English instruction. What is the correlation between storytelling and language learning? Is English storytelling instruction quite different from dialogue instruction? How does a teacher lead children to learn English happily and confidently with storytelling? This research project conducted an experimental study in an elementary school to investigate the effects of storytelling instruction on Chinese EFL children's English learning.
