The purpose of this study was to discuss the job stress and job burnout in table tennis coaches, and the relationship between job stress and job burnout. The subjects of this study were the elementary school’s table tennis coaches and secondary school’s table tennis coaches who attending the mandarin daily news table tennis game in 2004 , and the college’s table tennis coaches who attending college sports in 2005. Research tool was the 「Questionnaire for table tnnis Coaches’ Job Burnout and Job Stress 」. Independent t test, one-way ANOVA , and Pearson’s product-moment correlation were utilized for analysis. The results were the followings:1. The feeling degree of job stress in table tennis coaches was above the average.2. There was significant difference in job stress in different trained times in the one week.3. The feeling degree of job burnout in table tennis coaches was above the average.4. There was significant difference in job burnout in different marital status, teach team, age, educational, sports achievements, position in school, and different trained times in the one week. 5.There was no relationship between job stress and job burnout.
