The purpose of this study was to investigate the difference on flow in sports between different grade, gender, and skill performance on teenagers. 1197 students in junior high school were served as subjects. Each subject filled out demographic data and FSS (Flow State Scale) after 6.6 km running. Two-way ANOVAs with Scheffè posterior comparison method was applied to analyze the collected data. The result showed: (1) Gender in different grade made a significant difference on concentration and feedback, loss of self-consciousness, transformation of time, autotelic experience and total flow experience. (2) Skill performance in different grade made a significant difference on concentration and feedback, loss of self-consciousness, autotelic experience and total flow experience. (3) As for different grade, first graders had higher scores on flow experience. (4) As for different genders, male had higher scores on flow experience. (5) As for different skill performance, higher skill performancem had higher scores on flow experience.
