題名:我們培育孩子成為全球公民嗎?--從全球教育觀對國小社會教科書的論述分析

本研究針對國小社會教科書的全球化論述進行論述分析並提出改進建議,研究結果如下: 一、 雖然主流論述在字面上強調在地與全球連結,但是並未從學生的生活世界理解全球化的基本概念和發展歷程。 二、 雖然主流論述注意到「時空壓縮」轉變空間概念,但是其全球空間往往指涉國外而排除台灣,並缺乏全球地理的基本概念和生態相互依存的系統觀點。 三、 主流論述敘說台灣如何受到外來殖民的壓迫,呈現台灣歷史事件時並未提供相對參照的全球歷史發展,傾向單面向的台灣歷史意識,缺乏過去、現在、未來互動的全球史觀。 四、主流論述關注文化議題而忽視經濟議題。
This study applies Foucault’s discourse analysis to illuminate what is said and is not said, and what the superficial and deeper meanings is of each social studies textbook currently used in elementary schools in Taiwan. The findings are as follows: 1. The discourses in these textbooks superficially touch on the linkage between globalization and localization, but do not explain clear enough how the process has been developing. 2. The discourses state that the networks of globalization have changed the meaning of space. However, they also strangely imply that Taiwan is passively shaped by the process of globalization while not actively contributing anything significant to it. Besides, they lack necessary geographical knowledge for students to cultivate basic global consciousness. 3. The discourses concerns history events only related to Taiwan, without explaining what those events meant in context to the development of global history. In addition, the they also fall short in terms of offering a comprehensive part of global history. 4. The discourses emphasize the importance of multiculturalism, but economic issues have been largely ignored.
