The purpose of this study is to investigate sex curiosity of kindergarten children, the current status of the implementation of family sexuality education, difficulties on implementing sexuality education, and the needs for parenting sexuality education. This study adopted questionnaire survey and interviews to collect data from parents of children attending the kindergartens in Taichung city. A total of 380 questionnaires were returned and the data were analyzed by descriptive statistical analysis, t-test, one-way ANOVA. Eight parents of kindergarten children were also interviewed in the study. The results of this study indicate that the implementation of family sexuality education varied by gender and education level of the parent as well as the gender of their children. The difficulties encountered by parents on implementing sexuality education varied by their education level. The needs for parenting sexuality education varied by gender, age, and education level of parents. Finally, some suggestions are provided for parents, kindergartens, and researchers.
