辱禮活動是指在新成員加入組織時，資深成員不管新成員的意願，對其施行的任何侮辱、降級、辱罵、危險…等等行為。國內研究曾探討職場霸凌和運動領域中的學長制，但範圍較為侷限。本文回顧整理與辱禮有關的相關文獻，針對辱禮活動發生的學理解釋和影響，嘗試從不同觀點提出較全面的了解。整體而言，文獻中辱禮活動發生的來源可以從父權社會、個體需求、運動團隊的權力結構、運動員異常服從的特質等等不同觀點來說明；此外辱禮活動和入會儀式雖然對於團隊運作有正面效益，但卻也帶來許多身體和心理上的嚴重負面影響。未來研究應該針對國內運動情境中的辱禮活動和行為進行全面的了解，給於辱禮行為更完整的定義和研究架構，並且從運動脈絡中發展有效地防治策略。未來研究應該針對國內運動情境中的辱禮活動和行為進行全面的了解，給於辱禮行為更完整的定義和研究架構，並且從運動脈絡中發展有效地防治策略。

Hazing is any activity expected of new members joining or participating into a group that humiliates, degrades, abuses, or endangers them regardless of their willingness to participate. Previous research focused on bullying in the workplace and the hierarchy of power in sport. Given the limitation in this topic in Taiwan, this review article focused on hazing-related literature, especially on the theoretical landscape of hazing and its influence. Based on literature, some perspectives are suitable for explaining hazing, including the reproduction of a patriarchal society, personal needs, authority structure of sports team, deviant over-conformity of athletes, and so on. Though positive influences on team coordination were pointed out, hazing activities and initiation ceremonies negatively and severely impact the physical or psychological well-being of the individual. The findings illustrate the need to further clarify and define sport-specific hazing, as well as to institute various prevention strategies within sports settings to help educate athletes, coaches and administrators.
