中外文化差異和話語體系問題,仍造成許多教材無法貼近華語作為第二外語學習者的習慣思維,如果能以平易近人又帶有深層思維的故事教材形式,來創造與傳統語言教科書截然不同的課程,透過文字與圖像、影音融合,編製成完整有趣的多媒體繪本教材,不但可藉由故事上下文的邏輯與延伸,以及圖文並生的涵義自然而然跨越語用的隔閡,並能以其故事背景的沈浸,避免文化差異的誤解。台灣現今華語教材十分多元,但專用於華語學習的繪本教材卻寥寥無幾,更遑論能有一套完整的電子繪本教材。電子繪本如文建會的繪本花園、僑教雙週刊等,主要提供給母語為華語的學習者閱讀,在故事的主題上,多半不脫離一成不變的中國成語、歷史等典故內容,在創意主題的發揮上,仍然有很大的躍進空間。本文緣於以上問題意識,主旨乃在於應用雲端軟體來進行華語電子繪本的共筆協作,並進一步展現5本電子繪本教材成果及其相關的語言學習設計。此5本雲端電子繪本,分別為:天氣日記本、變臉、顏色看世界、四季怎麼了、道士與恐怖宴會;而其搭配的語言學習設計則有生詞、語法、寫字板、口語表達、寫作練習、測驗及小遊戲等。教材除了以網站形式發佈外,更導入播客(Podcast)系統發行節目,藉其強大Web2.0傳播以整合不受時空限制之行動學習,讓本研究之電子繪本教材可以達到全球化的華語學習。
Since Chinese language and culture are quite different from their Western counterparts, Chinese teaching materials could be unsuitable for learners of Chinese as a second language. If story books which can be easily understood and thought-provoking can be combined with images and videos, the result will be the publication of multimedia digital picture books; curriculums can then be more entertaining than those which adopt traditional textbooks as teaching materials. Through the integration of stories with images and videos, language barriers would be lifted without difficulty through the logic and extension of contexts. Also, cultural misunderstanding can be avoided through the design of storylines. Although there is a variety of a Chinese teaching material in Taiwan, very few digital picture books for Chinese learning are being used, not to mention designing a complete set of Chinese digital picture books. A database of digital picture books like "Garden of Digital Picture Books" of the Ministry of Culture and "Bi- Weekly Chinese Magazine" are designed for readers who speak Chinese. In terms of their contents, there are nothing but stories about Chinese idioms and Chinese history. Writers of teaching materials need to provide more creative stories. Concerning the above problems, this study focuses on the integration of cloud computing in Chinese digital picture books and presents the related design for language learning of five digital picture books. These books combined with cloud computing are: "Weather Diary", "Face Off", "Seeing Colorful World", What's Wrong with the Seasons?" and "The Taoist and a Scary Feast". The practices for language learning include: learning vocabulary and grammar, writing Chinese characters, speaking, writing, quizzes and flash games. Besides being posted online, podcast programs are integrated into the digital picture books, which enables learners to learn Chinese anytime and anywhere through an advanced technology named Web2.0, so the digital picture books throughout the study can help learners achieve the globalization of Chinese learning.
