The fire exemption clause of the carrier of goods by sea of the maritime law of R.O.C is different from the fire exemption clause of The 1924 Hague rules and the main nation's carriage of godds by sea. To the scholar's opinion and to put into practice are all in dispute, so that dispute is worthy of studying. For understanding deeply the fire exemption clause in details, this articles collects the main country's maritime law (ex: German, British, American, Japan, and R.O.C), The 1924 Hague rule and The 1978 Hamburg rules, judgement of court, and scholar's opinion etc. to study. At last the articles presents little opinion to reference.
