This research was aimed to explore the relationship between leisure benefits and perceived training effect of professional baseball players. 59 domestic professional baseball player from the Taiwan Major League (TML) were selected for this study. The research was conducted in two stages. In the first stage, the specified relation was examined by LISREL. In the second stage, interviews were followed to demonstrate the accuracy of theory model. This study focused on the three major factors of leisure benefits such as balancing living experiences, promoting wellness, and enhancing quality of life. The test results showed that the balance of living experiences and enhancement of quality of life both impose positive effect on perceived training effects. The mechanics are transference, filtering, restoration, attention-switching, and adaptation-learning. However, promoting wellness incurs negative effect on perceived training effect. The results also showed the significance ofhigh correlation among the three major factors of leisure benefits.
