The Body is a dark side of imagination in the history of western
phiosophy. This dissertation goes through Nietzsche, Husserl and
Merleau-Ponty to reveal the meaning between "Body" and
"Imagination". And to reveal how they can enrich the meaning of
"thought" through their "unthought". Besides, in the process of
art-therapy, "body" and "imagination" are the basic notion of
the foundation of therapy. This dissertation reseaches the
philosophical foundation of these two notions, so it is a
dissertation for establishing the foundation of art-therapy.
