題名:諮商員專業發展歷程之質性研究

本研究旨在了解諮商員專業發展的經過、影響諮商員專業發展的關鍵因素和關鍵事件,並了解諮商專業對諮商員的影響。本研究以同儕所認同的專業諮商員為研究對象,採質性研究之深度訪談法,以半結構的晤談指引進行訪談以收集資料,以開放編碼的方式分析歸納,發現本研究的結果如下:
一、 諮商員的專業發展歷程經歷了渾沌、探索、認同、整合及自主等五個階段,在這五個階段當中,諮商員持續的學習、不斷接受實務經驗的考驗,並在生活中驗證理論,得到理論的整合及個人的成長,進而想融合更多不同的專業於諮商領域中。
二、 諮商員專業發展歷程中,受到「得到支持與關心」、「持續在專業的學習」、「老師的風格」、「接受諮商經驗」、「平日生活的安排」、「專業的工作內容」、「案主」、「個性」等八個關鍵因素之影響,而這些關鍵因素也協助諮商員在專業發展過程中,得到負向情緒之紓解、學習動力之注入、個人成長之促進、專業之能之提昇、專業認同之增進、以及諮商理念之釐清。
三、 影響諮商員專業發展的關鍵事件包括「專業訓練事件」、「專業認定事件」、「個人生活事件」、「危機事件」等四類,其促使諮商員在專業發展過程有機會處理個人未竟事務,且對諮商專業有更統整的觀點,並能用更彈性的角度來看待案主,也對自己的接案風格或處事態度有合理的調整。
四、 諮商專業帶給諮商員在專業上能勝任助人角色,也能擁有揮灑自如的諮商風格,在個人生活上則是幫助諮商員更悅納自己、活在此時此刻、增加自我角色的定位、增進人際的和諧與親密感,且讓生活更豐富。
本研究並針對上述研究結果加以討論,並據此結果針對諮商員、諮商教育者及未來研究者提出具體建議。
The Qualitative research of the process of Counselors’ Development

Abstract
The purposes of this research were to understand the process, critical elements and incidents of counselors’ professional development, and to know the major counsel effect on them. The professional counselors were the objects of this research. Qualitative research was adopted. Semi-structure questionnaire interview was employed to collect data. The way of open coding was used to analyze and generalize the collected data.
The main findings could be concluded as follows:
Firstly, the process of counselors’ development would go through chaos, exploration, identification, integration and autonomy. Among the five stages, counselors continued to learning, to accept the test of actual experience, and to proof theory in life. To combine theory and personal growth, counselors would blend more different professional knowledge in the counsel field.
Secondly, during the process of counselors’ development, the counselors would be influenced by eight elements. They are “getting support and care”, “continuing to study in the profession”, “the style of teachers”, “counseling experience”, “arranging daily life”, “the content of the specialized job”, “the client”, and “personality”. The above key events assisted counselors during the process of their development. They help the counselors relieve their emotion, render them energy of study, give them growth in profession, reinforce the identity of being a counselor and to make the counseling concept more clear.
Thirdly, four kinds of key events affected counselors’ development. They were the event of professional training, the event of professional identification, the event of personal life, and the event of crisis. These events provided the counselors with the opportunity to manage personal unfinished business. Besides, they were equipped with more integer outlook of the job, more elastic point of view to observe clients. Hence, they could reasonably adjust themselves in terms of the styles of handling a case and the manners of managing affairs.
Fourthly, the specialized jobs also make the counselors capable of helping others in a free style. They could also help counselors like themselves more, accept the present moment, know themselves, and create harmony in family and interpersonal relationship as well as enrich the life.
Finally, suggestions to counselors, counseling educators, and future researchers were discussed based on research findings.
