玉山國家公園塔塔加遊憩區的設立，不僅縮短了登山客登爬玉山的時間，也使塔塔加遊憩區更能夠受到完善的保護，遊客量也逐年增加。因此本研究以玉山國家公園塔塔加遊憩區為例，探討遊客之人口統計變數之分布，以及遊客環境態度、旅遊動機、遊憩體驗及地方依附的相關性。問卷發放時間分別於2009年1月至4月，在塔塔加遊憩區中的「大鐵杉」處，利用便利抽樣方法進行問卷調查，總計發放446份，共得有效問卷413份。研究結果顯示，在塔塔加遊憩區遊憩之遊客環境態度會顯著的直接影響旅遊動機；環境態度會顯著的直接影響遊憩體驗；旅遊動機會顯著的直接影響遊憩體驗；遊憩體驗會顯著的直接影響地方依附。
