In this study, the influences and the future developing trends of aging society on the communal recreating facilities are investigated through the documentary analysis based on the policies of comprehensive community building in Taiwan. This study aimed to investigate the evolution and current status of the community building policies in Taiwan; to classify and define the communal recreating facilities; to explore the influence of aging phenomena on the communal recreating facilities; to analysis the developing tendency of the communal recreating facilities from the aging phenomena. The results shows that the aging population in Taiwan, through it is a serious problem, provides the great business opportunities available through the theory of comprehensive community building to use of the multi-type, multi-function, and multi-orientation of communal recreating facilities, which is providing the senior citizens with ornamental, participation, and education of functions. The premise is the cooperation between the government and the industry or CSOs which provides the services or the products or the activities meet senior consumer needs. Therefore, it can attracts the participation of the elderly consumer.
