This study investigates the relationship among job stress, leisure participation and health condition of apothecary pharmacists in Taipei. Two hundred and twenty questionnaires were sent with 169 valid questionnaires received to collect data. The response rate was 76.82%. This research focuses on ”apothecary pharmacists in Taipei”. Study results are as follows: 1. From the present health condition of apothecary pharmacists in Taipei. (1) Their primary stress comes from institutional stress. (2) Their primary recreational activities are entertainment and recreational. (3) The physical and mental health of apothecary pharmacists in Taipei is generally good, with a minority of them not feeling well. 2. The personal attributes of apothecary pharmacist in Taipei. (1) There are significant differences due to gender and number of years service in work pressure. (2) There are significant differences in gender, age and number of years service in leisure participation. (3) There are significant differences in gender, marital status, number of children, and service years in body and mental health condition. 3. Leisure participation and work pressure of apothecary pharmacist in Taipei. (1) Government pressure and interior leisure activities present a lower positive correlated relationship. Conversely, the former and entertainment activities have lower negative correlated relationship. (2) Pressure from patients and outdoor leisure activities present lower positive correlated relationship. Conversely, the former and entertainment activities have lower negative correlated relationship. (3) Institutional pressure and entertainment activities present a negative correlated relationship. (4) Individual pressure and outdoor leisure activities present a lower positively correlated relationship. Conversely, travel activities and entertainment activities have a lower negative correlated relationship. 4. Leisure participation and body and mental health condition of apothecary pharmacist in Taipei. (1) Physical and mental health condition, travel activities and entertainment activities present a lower negative correlated relationship. Mental and hobby activities present a lower positively correlated relationship. (2) Biliousness and travel activities present a lower positively correlated relationship.
