     本研究旨在探討幼稚園初任教師第一年教學工作的情形。研究目的包括:(一)就 質和量的分析角度,探討幼稚園初任教師在第一年教學工作中最常面臨和最感困擾之問題; (二 ) 提供幼兒教育師資培育工作者改進課程內容和教學之參考;(三 ) 提供幼教輔導機構 或幼稚園規畫初任教師輔導方案之參考。 資料搜集以問卷調查法及半結構式的訪談法為主。問卷調查受試樣本為現任幼兒園初任教師 490 名,訪談之受試樣本為現任幼兒園初任教師 44 名。 綜合研究之主要發現,對幼稚園初任教師困擾問題歸納為課程與教學、課室管理、人際關係 、學校行政和個人問題等五方面: (一 ) 在課程與教學上的困擾問題主要是為教學資源不足、教學技巧不足、和幼兒園課程偏 重認知性讀寫算,無法發揮師院所學。 (二 ) 在課室管理上的困擾問題主要是為教室常規的維持、幼兒行為的輔導、和幼兒本質的 認識。 (三 ) 在人際問題關係上的困擾問題主要是為與家長的管教方法不同、同事間缺乏討論、同 事工作態度上的差異、與園長的觀念不同。 (四 ) 在學校行政上的困擾問題主要是為工作負荷大重、園方政策經常性變動、和缺乏有效 的溝通管道。 (五 ) 在個人問題上的困擾問題主要是為對幼教生涯的認同、和容易生病。
     The major purposes of the research project were (1) to examine the problems perceived by kindergarten beginning teachers most frequently and most bothersome; (2) to provide information for teacher educators as well as kindergarten consultants and directors. Questionnaire was mailed to 490 beginning kindergarten teachers in order to collect quantitative data. Also there were 44 beginning teachers involved in the semi-structured interview in order to obtain qualitative information. Analysis of data indicated that problems occurred most frequently and perceived most bothersome by first-year teachers including curriculum and instruction, classroom management, interpersonal relationship, administration, and personal issues.
