     我認為,在印度佛教史上,如果說小乘偏向於以教團為中心傳承與運作的話,大乘則偏向於以經典及其承載的思想為中心傳承與運作。所以,對這些經典的理論淵源、形態演變、版本區別、流傳經歷、真偽鑒定及其在佛教研究中的價值的研究,便成為佛教文獻學的一個重大任務,也是印度佛教史研究的重要內容。本文對敦煌遺書所存《法華經》及其注疏進行了較為全面的收集整理與介紹,目的是為上述研究提供一些基本的資料。本文最後就《法華經》在中國的主要興盛時期及流傳方式提出若干個人的見解。
     If it is true that in the history of Indian Buddhism the main traditions and activities of the Hinayana centred around the sangha then it were, in the present writer's opinion, scriptures and their ideas which the Mahayana took as its main point of reference. Thus research into the intellectual sources, formal developments, textual variants, transmission routes and questions of authenticity of these texts as well as their value for Buddhist studies becomes not only a vital task Buddhist philology has to face but also an important topic for the study of Indian Buddhist history. In order to provide some materials for this research the present paper offers a more comprehensive collection and systematic arrangement of the Lotus Sutra and its commentaries as found among the Dunhuang documents. At the end, the author formulates a number of personal opinions about both the period in which the Lotus Sutra had its greatest impact in China and the ways it was spread then.
