本文先釐清「重讀」的兩個論述意涵。再從一、文本的罅縫。二、歷史圖像。三、歷史圖像的建構。四、歷史圖像建構的追隨者。五、歷史圖像與文學想像等五方面，論述「文本的罅縫與歷史圖像的建構」的諸般問題。最後以「期待再次『重讀』」作結。

　　　　　This essay first clarifies two interpretations of "rereading." and then from (1)the blanks in the text, (2)historical images, (3)constructing historical images, (4)the followers of imagistic historicism, and (5)historical images and literary imagination I examine issues found in the balks in the blanks in the texts and the construction of historical images. I finally conclude this essay with "waiting to reread."
