The purpose of this research is to develop an effective "emotional management program (EMP)" for the on-teach-training students, the future teachers. The program is also to be practiced and evaluated to see how the program will affect the emotional intelligence (EI) of those future teachers. This research is to use an EI scale to conduct a pretest before practice and a post-test after practice. The participants are all chosen from the on-teach-training students. 12 weeks' emotional management program are to be practiced. The EI scale as the primary instrument and the feedbacks and weekly journals from all the participants for each course are also collected and used for quality analysis. The results are found that four sub scales, including self-awareness, self-motivation, empathy, and interpersonal relationship and the total score of EI have shown significant difference, except that the emotional management sub scale which does not reach significant difference. The results from quality data are also shown that the participants have the positive change after the training course is taken. Finally, the program will be refined based on the results. And, more, a practical suggestion will be provided for (1) education organization, (2) counseling activity in school, and (3) future researches.
