　　　　　近年來，企業的社會責任與企業倫理因某些大企業接連發生違法或醜聞事件而受重視。在大多數國家中，社會大眾與企業管理者普遍都認為企業應善盡社會責任與遵守企業倫理，但事實上，企業或公司機構的違法事件卻層出不窮。譬如美國無線電公司(RCA)在桃園所造成的嚴重污染事件，林肯建設公司與林肯大郡災變事件，以及公司詐欺、逃漏稅、製造不安全產品、提供不安全的工作職場等事件，可以說是不勝枚舉。當然在公司犯罪的範疇裡還有許多眾所皆知的案例，在另一方面，更有許多公司犯罪事件是未被揭發出來的。美國著名犯罪學者M.B. Clinard 與P.C. Yeager表示(1980)，姑且不論肉體傷害，公司犯罪對於社會大眾所造成的經濟損失，甚至可能超過街頭犯罪損失的總和。但是在過去傳統的犯罪研究裡，公司犯罪卻一直是較受到忽略的一個領域。從學術研究的角度或從其所造成的嚴重後果來分析，公司犯罪無疑均是一個亟需研究的重要議題。本文的目的在於探究公司犯罪的原因解釋理論，除分析相關解釋理論的基本命題與內容範圍之外，更討論不同理論間的相競合處。在做上述的探究與論述當中，筆者也蒐集了有關理論的實證研究資料。在國內尚缺乏對於公司犯罪現象進行系統性研究的情況下，本文期盼能提供給讀者在公司犯罪原因論上建立一個初探式的架構。
