題名:看見!?--校園同志輔導工作推展之現況與輔導教師對同志諮商之訓練需求調查

本研究以高中職與大專院校輔導教師為對象,調查其對同志議題的態度,以及學校推動同志輔導工作的現況與對同志諮商的訓練需求,共寄出問卷342份,回收有效問卷228份。 調查結果如下: 1.輔導教師對同志議題的態度,結果發現不同性別、科系、年齡、是否曾接觸同志學生、是否曾有親友對自己現身等向度上有顯著差異。 2.絕大多數輔導教師表示該校有同志學生,且認為校園環境對同志學生是友善的。 3.多數輔導教師曾輔導對性傾向感困擾的學生,僅有10.2%的輔導教師主動介入同志學生被欺負或騷擾的情況。 4.推動同志學生輔導工作的困難有:同志學生不願曝光、同學欺負同志學生、教師對同志議題缺乏認識、輔導教師缺乏同志諮商的知識與技巧、學校缺乏同志學生可運用的資源。 5.在訓練需求方面,重要性的百分比如下:同志學生的處境(98.7%)、同志學生的心理困擾(98.2%)、性傾向的認同發展(94.3%)、如何處理同志學生被騷擾(93.8%)、增進自己對同志態度的覺察(90.8)、如何營造對同志友善的校園環境(86.3)、舉辦同志活動的方案設計(81.5%)、同志伴侶諮商(79.2%)。
The present study was undertaken in order to understand the attitudes school counselors have towards LGBT students, as well as the training they need regarding homosexuality issues. Questionnaires were distributed to 342 counselors, both in senior high schools and colleges, of which 228 were returned. People who were younger (age of 40 and below), knowing friends or students were LGBT, graduated from psychology or counseling majors were friendlier towards LGBT students. More than eighty percent of the participants indicated there were LGBT students in their schools. Most school counselors, more than 60%, indicated that the campus atmosphere was friendly to LGBT students. However, 38.6% of the participants agreed that LGBT students experienced different types of assault or discrimination. Thirty-four percents of the school counselors had worked with students who were discriminated by their sexual orientation, but only 10% had intervened to create a save and friendly environment for LGBT students. Nevertheless, the participants agreed that school counselors should actively intervene in any kinds of aggression against sexual orientation. The most difficult problem they had was that LGBT students would not come out to them, and rarely turned to counselors for information or help. On the one hand, the participants agreed that they did not have enough training and knowledge to work with LGBT students. On the other hand, only few school counselors attended LGBT workshops or training programs, and very few schools provided training or information regarding LGBT issues to teachers and faculty members in their campus. Discussion and suggestions concerning the training issues of how to encourage school counselors to be more actively in creating a friendly environment for LGBT students were then presented.
