Health is the basic human right and the key point of social and economic development. Regarding to the different leisure lifestyles and environments, it establishes residents' special health statuses between urban and rural areas. It was combined with the studies of Cheng (2003) and other related scholars to develop this research. Cheng (2003) based on the factor analysis of SF-36 (36-Item Short From General Health Survey Measures) to define exercises-oriented, early-bird-activities-oriented, family-oriented, weekend-traveling-oriented, vacation-oriented and healthy-food-oriented leisure lifestyles. The results of this research were as followings: There were significant different surveyed residents' health statuses of urban and rural areas between exercises-oriented, early-bird-activities-oriented, family-oriented and healthy-food-oriented leisure lifestyles. The surveyed residents' leisure lifestyles were related to their healthy perceptions, healthy psychologies, and vitality statuses. In addition, there were significant different leisure activities and health-related behaviors, such as smoking behavior, alcohol-drinking behavior, eating behavior and transportation-using behavior, of the surveyed residents between urban and rural areas regarding to different locations. Generally speaking, there were significant residents' health statuses between urban and rural areas. However, various surveyed residents' situations contributed to different health statuses.
