Taiwan entered the era of “aging society" in 1993 since its elderly population (65 or above) was accounted for 7% of the total population at that year. Elderly require not only considerate daily care but also appropriate leisure activities. Family support is another important concern to elderly care since elderly can be healthier with strong support from their own families. This research studies the feasibility of elderly health checkups tourism with descendant participation. Based on elderly friendly services and corresponding certificates in Taiwan, a mechanism for arranging appropriate health check tourisms for three-generation families is studied where the mechanism is expected to meet various needs of family members. The result of this research is helpful to the tourism industry to expand their business scope, to the prevention health care industry to use their health check equipment more efficiently, to the government to allocate health care resources more effectively, and to the young generation to understand traditional culture by interacting with elderly through the tourism.
