The Study focus on management of the Symphonic bands. To understand the current development of the symphonic bands, the officer of the social educational section (Bureau of Education), the charge of instrument supplier, and the leaders of back-up institutions are in-depth interviewed. The research is based on the analyses of documents and the results of interviews. The following three research results play important role for the development of the bands: First, the bands development keep good forward at the beginning period that come from the supports of the government policy. Second, society diversification and band numbers can't put together in one class because the bands development to stuck and not move forward at the mid-term stage. The lively-course policy also have some influences. But other bands still operate well because of having enough of man powers, physical resources, and financial ability. Third, the competition from other unions and integral-system arranging job of schools also influence to enroll new numbers of band union. The class-tutor may impact the recruitment. All school members should arrange the job, using integral-system instead of teaching- year system. The teachers will sincere support the band development because of getting score reward from the winning of competitions.
