本研究旨在探討「原住民族家庭服務中心」的專業功能，為達此目的，本研究以實務督導經驗針對原家中心專業服務進行實務評析。研究發現，當前臺灣原住民族無論在教育、就業、衛生或公共福利的資源與機會的取得方面，皆遠不如平地漢人。為了縮短原漢之間各項福利資源落差，原民會至今在全國總共設置63處原家中心為有福利需求的族人提供各項福利服務。雖然當前原家中心設置的數量仍難滿足族人的福利需求，但各地區的原住民族家庭服務中心，儼然已成為脆弱家庭和身心受傷害族人獲取專業服務的主要管道。不過從實務上來觀察，原家中心仍面臨底下幾項專業困境有待克服：（一）組織功能可再加強；（二）強化母會專業督導功能；（三）增加專業人力、提升專業能力；（四）原民會理應將原家中心從計畫型轉為制度型的常設措施。

The paper aimed to explore the professional functions of Indigenous Family Service Centers. For the purpose, the practical supervision experiences were collected and analyzed. It was found that, compared to Han people, indigenous peoples were inferior when accessing to resources and opportunities in education, employment, health and public welfare. In order to shorten these welfare resource gaps, Council of Indigenous Peoples had established 63 Indigenous Family Service Centers all over Taiwan to provide indigenous peoples with welfare services. Although the establishment and the current number of the Indigenous Family Service Center were still waiting for work, these centers had become the main place for the vulnerable indigenous family and people to receive professional services. According to the practical observation, it could be found that Indigenous Family Service Centers might face some professional difficulties: (1) the functions of the organizations which undertook the business of the center should be promoted; (2) the professional supervision function of the organization should be strengthened; (3) the professional manpower and abilities should be increased; and (4) the establishment of the center should be institutionalized.
