題名:國民中學中途離校學生之生活狀況及教育問題調查研究

     本研究旨在探討國中中途離校學生的生活狀況、教育問題,及其在性別變項上的差異情形。本研究的母群計有3857人,抽樣比例為1/3,抽樣人數為1286人,實際有效訪視人數為1228人(男生765人,女生463人),有效訪視百分比為95%。訪視所得資料以百分比法、卡方檢定法處理分析之。茲歸納重要結果如下: (一) 中途離校原因方面顯示男女生有顯著差異,男生以在校與同學不睦,女生以離家出走之項目所佔的百分比較多。 (二) 家庭生活狀況方面顯示男女生有顯著差異,男生以父母和睦與父母同住較多,女生以填答「其他」的百分比較多。 (三) 在學時的學業成方面顯示男女生有顯著差異,女生的成績比男生更好一點。 (四) 離校後的感想方面顯示男女生有顯著差異,男生認為不必讀書、考試比較輕鬆的較多,女生以懷念學校的老師和同學較多。 (五) 對目前狀況滿意的情形方面顯示男女生有顯著差異,男生不滿意者百分比較女生略多。 根據研究發現和結論,研究小組提出家庭、學校、社會、教育行政主管機關等方面和未來的建議。
     The purposes of this study were to investigate the lives and education problems of droped out students from junior high schools. Subjects were 1228 students (765 boys, 463 girls). The date of the questionnaire were processed and analyzed by percentages and Chi-square test. The findings were as follows. 1. There was a significant difference between boys and girls in Reasons for Dropping out. Boys were more rejected by their peers than did girls. Girls ran away from home more than boys did. 2. There was a significant difference between boys and girls in Family Life. Boys' parents were more harmonious and boys lived with parents than girls did. Girls chose "others" more than boys did. 3. There was a significant difference between boys and girls in School Record. Girls got high grades more than boys did. 4. There was a significant difference between boys and girls in Reflection after Dropped out. Boys felt good as they need not study and take examinations. Girls reflected more memories of teachers and classmates than boys did. 5. There was a significant difference between boys and girls in Satisfying with Current Conditions. Boys expressed more unastisfiction than girls did. According to the results of the present study, the intvestigators made some suggestions of families, Schools work, education administration and further researches.
