　　　　　本文主要目的在探討教育政策執行研究的演進、相關研究，並加以檢討及提出未來研究的展望。首先，教育政策執行研究的演進可分為三個階段，每個階段各有其研究的重點。其次，將蒐集到有關教育方面的政策執行研究，分別以摘要方式介紹每個研究的樣本、研究方法及研究發現等。此外，綜合分析教育政策執行的相關研究，並進行研究方法及理論建立的檢討，認為教育政策執行研究應採長期縱貫式的個案研究及多重角度的研究方法；而且借用外國的理論研究時，應分析外國理論背後社會文化與我國本身社會文化的差異，不能完全移植國外的研究經驗。最後，提出未來研究的展望：（一）進行長期縱貫式的研究；（二）採取整合的研究途徑；（三）加強基層教育單位的政策執行研究；（四）推展以學校為中心的政策執行研究。
